Answer by Mark N If you look on the newegg.com reviews of that motherboard there are about 25% DOA boards for your brand and series motherboard… Seems like many of the x58 boards are turning out duds. I know you don’t want to RMA, but might be the last resort. I sure wouldn’t keep messing around and break something then be stuck with a board you didn’t really mess up…

How much would it cost to build my own decent gaming computer?
No monitor, no keyboard.. got all that. Just need to kit up the internals of my empty tower.
I want something that’ll be decent with Second Life. Top graphics.

First off I can spend up to ,000 dollars on building this beast. I am not sure if that’s not enough to accomplish this goal but if not I hope it gets me darn close. I am buying the parts and my brother is building it for me. I need to know whats the best Motherboard, Graphics Card and Quad if possible, Sound Card, Hard Drive, Blu Ray Burner, and anything to lessen ping time. If you could list the names and product numbers that would be helpful.

I want to build a good gaming computer for less than 0 please include a list of all the parts include a container, processor, and anything else i would need. What needs to be under the budget is the important stuff, if a mouse or keyboard makes it go over i am fine with that.I would be fine with a link to a website and any advice you can give me.

Answer by jerick:) you will need to assemble your own pc because 0 budget seems to be short. you definitely need to assemble and its better.. try to look for pricelist in different computer shop’s and you compare each prices. sometimes you’ll need to buy different parts on different shops depending on price of each parts.
start with the motherboard , processor , memory, hdd, powersupplies, casing then monitor. you dont have to include such keyboard and mouse in your budget because most of the shops gives it for free. considering your 0 you dont have to buy expensive keyboard mouse case.. monitor size is very important especially in gaming. goodluck

I’ve got 1200 bucks to spend on a gaming computer, I already have a monitor and keyboard, can you choose the best parts for me?
Best answer:
Answer by Schiffy! Man, if you have 1200 dollars you could just buy a comp off of iBuyPower, or the like. Some of the values are good enough that it is more worth it to order than to build your own.
