im looking to get a new computer, i know they can be very expensive, but i just want to play games like shogun2 and other games you can’t get on console, i don’t really know mutch about computers so i can’t build one, and i don’t know anyone that can.

Answer by Mace If your gonna game on a computer you should know how to put them together for when you want to upgrade stuff. Barebones kits from tigerdirect are a good way to get started.
I play games Like COD and Lf4 those types a games some wear to like 200-500? I am getting MW3 so I dont want it to be hardcore laggy and wasted like 60 bucks?

In the end, I took an old PC tower down from the attic, replaced the harddrive and graphics card to decent ones and hooked it up to my TV via HDMI to use as a monitor.
It cost me just over £100 to do that, and it works brilliantly. I can play Portal and Portal 2 flawlessly along with games like Fallout, Dragon Age 2, etc.
This was definitely a cheaper method with a great effect!

Answer by Proto Online… You’ll have to build from scratch or upgrade though- computers capable of playing the highest-end games like Crysis are more expensive they require good graphics cards, CPUs and power supplies (which the bargain models don’t have)
Newegg & Tiger Direct have the best deals, sometimes Amazon is pretty good too.
