Uploaded to the web via 4G here comes the Quad Band GSM/Edge and 5 Band WCDMA Nokia 500. Installed with the latest version of Symbian Anna and with a selection of different coloured backs as standard (wow) This is the new kid on the block. 5mpix camera although would be nice to have more, wlan as standard and has maps, navigation, 3.2 touch screen and guess all you would expect from Nokia these days. To me the 1GHz processor seems sometimes to be too small and the phone lags but on the streets and using it then the phone holds well to signals and works even in fringe areas. Also the battery is good with 2g standby time of 20 days quoted. I will leave mine on 3g and see how that stands the test of time. A little over 120 euros sim free and well priced in the market. It is good for “connecting people” but will it change the world and how Nokia is seen after the recent turmoil. NO is the answer to this one. Bootcamp is free with OSX 10.5. It’s not virtual machine but an alternative-boot system.
