I’m ready to leave this house for good.?

Everything with my mom is competition, everything with my mom is a fight. I can’t do anything without her harassing me on what i’m doing. She wants to know my every move and doesn’t leave me space to breath. She lies to me all the time and when i call her out on something she did wrong, she won’t have any of it. Earlier today, we were arguing, it was something stupid i know, but 3 weeks earlier she was saying in two weeks she was going to get me a new phone if i did all of my chores and what not. I did everything she asked me and it’s been 3 weeks. She started yelling at me because i got pissed off at my phone for the touch screen completely not working. So she yelled because i said something about getting my new phone and after telling me that her husband needs a new phone too, and his is still functional. MINE ISN’T! I recently was getting severely stressed out about all this crap going on in my house and my grades started slipping, I wasn’t sleeping or eating or any thing. Couldn’t go one night with out crying. My dad (he knows how she is,that’s why they divorced) is always telling me i need too get away from her and move to his house, but i can’t go over there because i don’t get along with my step mom for anything. I have been slapped and threatened by my mom multiple times, while in arguments and everything she wants, if doesn’t go her way, she has to take away something from me or ground me. She never wants to talk about anything. Its her way or no way. I just wanna know if this moving out at 17 law is true, or if there are any alternatives for getting out of this crap. I have a place to stay and live, a environment, no drugs,alcohol, and what not. I’ve thought about taking this law seriously and just packing my stuff and leaving a note in the middle of night. I just don’t want my mom to call me as a run away and i go to juvie or jail. Even though they told me they couldn’t do anything about it, I am not 100% positive. I just can’t be around this anymore. (

Some states do support what is called “Emancipation” at 16 or 17…HOWEVER…you have to have a full time job and be able to support yourself (go in front of Judge and prove it) and have an address of your own (and prove it) and provide health care and have no support from either of your parents. If you run away you already know that she can call the police who can have you locked up in juvenile if that is what she chooses.

Will my computer be good for gaming?

I have a dell dimension 3000 with 2.40 ghz celeron processor. The graphics card is “plug and play monitor in Intel (R) 82865G Graphics Controller.” It currently has 512 mb of ram but will be getting 2 gb of ram soon. Will my computer be able to support high end computer games? The most ram my computer can get is 2gb. Should I get a new graphics card? If so, what do you recommend. I don’t know much about computer specs.

I don’t know much about computer specs either but what you have won’t be enough to play high end games. I think any new graphics card would be better than what you have now. I think intel graphics card are just crap. why? that’s what i have too.

I was looking for the same a while a go..
In the end, I took an old PC tower down from the attic, replaced the harddrive and graphics card to decent ones and hooked it up to my TV via HDMI to use as a monitor.
It cost me just over £100 to do that, and it works brilliantly. I can play Portal and Portal 2 flawlessly along with games like Fallout, Dragon Age 2, etc.
This was definitely a cheaper method with a great effect!

Go to your local electronic store (best buy, circuit city, etc.) the guys at best buy helped me alot while I was looking for one.

October 2011, is it a good time to buy an Alienware Aurora gaming computer?

Or should I wait?
there might be updates to graphics cards and/or processors pretty soon or something and I dont wanna end up with the not-so-good.

Don’t tell me to build my own computer, i need to go with Dell and their financing because it’s the only way I can get it and as far as I know, Cyberpower PC and iBuyPower (the only 2 custom computer makers I know) don’t finance their products.

Computer components are always updating every few months, it’s pointless to try and future-proof it.

But now is as good time as any to buy.

Edit: If Dell will give you finance then I don’t see why you can’t just get a loan from your bank and build one?
