I need help build a new gaming computer?

I am building a new computer. I have ASUS EXTREME II RAMPAGE MB I am usinf I7 920 CPU. Using WD Velocirapto HD 350 GB and corsair dominator RAM. EVGA 285 video card. After every thing is assembled my computer wont beet up. I have changed MB three time and CPU twice and still have the problem. Any tech Savvy person can help or suggest a solution.

If you look on the newegg.com reviews of that motherboard there are about 25% DOA boards for your brand and series motherboard… Seems like many of the x58 boards are turning out duds. I know you don’t want to RMA, but might be the last resort. I sure wouldn’t keep messing around and break something then be stuck with a board you didn’t really mess up…

FAMILY PROBLEMS!! I need to know what i should do?( i know this might be long but please help)?

Ok my 2 sister in laws called me asking if they can barrow some money to get their kids(5 all together) somethin to eat cause a guy that has been living there with their mom and dad is eating all the food up and he’s not even family. he’s just a bom and a crack head. any ways they want me to either let them barrow some money or get them some food and i really dont have it to give it cause my hubby and i are taking care of our son. There are 6 adults living where they are and 3 of them have jobs and plus they get like 600 in foodstamp. When my husband is working 2 jobs and i am working to keep up with our bills and buying food. Now what i dont get is that they are letting a grown man that is not even family eat there food and live there and noone is making him leave. their mom and dad both have jobs and my 1 of my sister in laws husband works and my other one gets money from her husband. they have a 00 pool, the brand new touch screen phones that came out, 0 lab top. i know it’s nice to have all those things but should you put your bills and food and children first? Anyways they have the money to buy their cigs and beer and gas to run but yet they dont have the money for food and is calling and asking money from my husband and i when what little money we have we need. BUT i dont want to see the kids go without. Also they NEVER help my husband and i out. NEVER!! I dont want to be mean but should i just tell them no and how i feel about why i said no. i really dont know what to do. I dont want to give them cash cause i think they will go off and buy more cigs and beer and i know if i get them food that guy that is living there will eat it befor the kids will get to. WHAT TO DO?

yes definetely its their dumbass fault that they are stupid enough not to put their kids in front of technology like a freaking laptop or cellphone. and i dont believe they actually have a bum in their house do they? i think theyre trying to scam ur money out of you, dont do it. they have to earn it themselves. those motherfucking dickhead bitches. fuck.

Sibling being favored! HELP!?

Ok well I have a younger brother who is 11. He has a really bad temper. He gets bad grades, screams at my mom, hits me, yells at me and gets whatever he want!I am 13 I get good grades, I only yell at my mom if she doesn’t believe my brother hits and yes i yell at my brother but who doesn’t?
And I get nothing! My brother got one of those touch-screen computers for no complete reason out of the blue and what did I get nothing. I haven’t gotten a present from my parents since i was 11! I know it might be hard to believe but it’s true!

I seem to be doing everything right..as I said i get good grades and help people! My brother is always mean to other people in random stores and making fun of them!

I don’t know what to do! I mean if you tell me to talk to them I’ll give you a thumbs down
I sometimes think that I should just fail all my classes and act like my brother but I can’t I have ot study I mean it’s weird! I have to be smart I seriously don’t know how lol! What should I do?

Their attention is not drawn to you because they do not have to worry about you like they do you’re brother. They consider you self sufficient. Be proud of yourself.

What they are doing is giving in to him because of his bad behavior. Wrong thing to do. They are hoping that if they do for him and keep him happy that he will in return change and respect them. He won’t. He will just expect more and be worse to get more. They are making a bed and they are going to have to lay in it.

Don’t ever stop doing what yu are doing. What you are doing is good and it will get you farther in life than you’re brother will get if he continues down the path he has chosen and the path that you’re parents are enabling him to follow.

You continue to strive and hold you’re head up and be proud of you. If you wait on others to pat you on the back and make you feel good about yourself you will end up right where you are now again and again.

Nothing more to say but keep up the good work and distance yourself from the negative. Don’t let it eat you up inside like it has. It will hurt you while the ones that cause the pain will go on with their lives unaffected.

New US Cellular User. Help with info about plans and phones!?

I’m planning on getting added to my Dad’s phone plan. I will make his Single plan a Family Plan. We will be having the National Family Plan, with 700 Anytime Minuets, Unlimited INcoming Calls, Unlimited Mobile to Mobile, and Unlimited Txt.
Us Cellular has ZERO phones that I like, BUT they are getting in the new LG Tritan, which I LOVE and really wanna get. But from all of the reviews I could find on it, everyone is saying that I will HAVE to have some sort of Data Plan. Adding a data plan is not an option for me, I have to help pay for my extra line, and I cant afford any more than what I already have.
So the question is:

Is there ANY way I can get this phone WITHOUT Internet?
I’m getting it because of they Keyboard, I dont want internet on the phone, because I dont need it; I only need texting.
I know people have gotten cracked phones from other providers and used them with theirs and were still able to talk and text, which is all I wanna do (and use the camera & touch screen) is it possible to get the phone from alltel cracked and then just have them activate it?
It seems pointless adn stpid to me that you should be able to just NOT activate the internet for the phone.
one of my friends has a black berry and no internet on it, because he didnt WANT internet on it.

Please tell me if this is at all possible in ANY way.
and if so, please tell me, this is my 1st phone, but im cellphone-illiterate. But any help would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.
The phone is just starting to be released, so I’ll be starting my plan with my dad in a few days or whenever they release the phone. So i need to know ASAP so that If i have to order another phone, then I have time to.

Yea I know US Cellular has pretty suckish phone selection. But the Tritan has to come with the internet package. I know what you mean. I really want that phone but I don’t want the internet but they will still charge you -20 for the internet, weather you use it or not.

It is stupid that they force you to have internet but they do. Yes you can have a phone from alltel unlocked. But I hear it can be expensive. First I would go to a US Cellular store and confirm that it will be able to be unlocked. And if all goes well the USC store then go get a phone from Alltel and tell them you want it unlocked.

USC usually gets new phones every 2 months. (FYI)

Keeping an Open Mind Allows for Growth

Have you ever wondered how keeping an open mind has affected people and the world?  Well, it has allowed us to grow by developing our views, and improving our knowledge.  Society and its views are very complicated in nature, and it all depends on open minds in order to allow for growth. The world is constantly changing with new ideas, trends, new innovations and advancing technology, and it has been our open minds that has allowed those things to grow to the proportions as we know it today.
            For people, having an open mind allows room for growth which acts as medicine towards our psychological health.  When we keep an open mind, we allow ourselves to experience methods and ideas from  the old and traditional, and, the new and modern. When people are exposed to those methods and ideas, they can experience other religions and cultures allowing them to be mentally rich.  From this, they can sort and dispose of those traditional behaviours that restrain them from their own personal development.  One example is, many people do not accept the idea of buying domestic and trans-border airplane tickets online because they are not willing to change or try a new method, or that they are afraid that someone will steal their credit card number through the internet.  However, if they were open to the idea of buying airplane tickets online, not only would they learn that it is 100% safe, they would save a lot of time, get a better deal, and save the to booking fee (because most airlines in North America do not pay commission to travel agencies).  
            In the global society, having an open mind is a key factor towards growth.  The change in segregation of people with different skin colour and race is a good example of how keeping an open mind has allowed for growth. There is obvious evidence that there has been significant growth in this topic, since many years ago, discrimination against people with different skin colour or race was quite heavy and more dramatic than it is today.
Technology is another area affecting the global world, that has flourished due to having an open mind.  In the technological market, a prime example is Apple’s iPhone.  While other phone companies were focused on creating one type of phone,  Apple came out with fresh new ideas such as a multi-touch screen interface, the ability to download applications directly to the device and its many other features all at an affordable price, which has allowed them to dominate the smartphone market as we speak.   Almost every company is now trying to compete with  Apple which has never competed in the phone market until the iPhone came out, which was a huge success. 
              Having an open mind is absolutely essential for growth in ourselves and in a the global society.  Without open minds, new innovations, technologies and new ideas would not have succeeded, and the world would not have grown at the rate that we have. Both of the previous examples required open minds in order to develop and flourish. Continued growth is only possible through open minded thinking and continued support for growth.

I think it would be helpful to know your age and/or what grade level you are in to give you an accurate opinion.
One point I noticed immediately is that your essay is factually inaccurate. It is not 100% safe to make purchases online, for example.
Also, it would be helpful to use other descriptions for “open mindedness” throughout your essay; the term is used excessively. Perhaps you could use “unprejudiced, liberal, free, balanced, broad, objective, reasonable, enlightened, tolerant, impartial, receptive, unbiased, dispassionate, fair-minded, broad-minded or undogmatic” to replace some of the repetitive uses of “open-minded”. Of course, this is just a suggestion. Good luck!

I need help finding a new phone.?

Hello.

I am currently looking for a new phone. I want something with a full keyboard. It doesn’t matter if it has a touch screen. Also it doesn’t matter if it has the 30 dollar plan needed either.

I really like the looks of the blackberry. The impression also looks nice. But I have read review that the keyboard is really slow and lags and I am a fast texter.

I like the layout of the blackberry I have had one before. I have never used the Internet. I do use email quite a bit. I am only 17 but I am enrolled in online classes and I email back and forth quite a bit to and from there.

It needs to be able to use YouTube As I watch those all te time. I would also prefer a 3.5 mm headphone Jack but I guess it’s joy big deal if I don’t have one. I am on ATT and would prefer the phone to have 3G coverage.

Based on all this what is the best phone for me. You can also make another suggestion of a phone if you would like to.

I don’t want an iPhone btw

Okay well ive been having the crashing to desktop and saving error problems for a while now and i did some research on how to move around the problem. Hopefully EA Will bring out a patch or something to fix it …. i did my best, although i cannot fix everyones problems i am willing to help though ….
