How do I transfer music from my old iPod to a new one?

I have an older version of an iPod (3rd Generation) and this Christmas I’m going to get a new iPod touch. I got my music for my current iPod from multiple computers in our family. Is there a way I can get my music from my old iPod to the new one all at once without going from computer to computer? I’m no computer geek so dumb it down for me please.

Iv’e been thinking mega hard about getting an ipod classic (the new one not the old one) or an itouch.

i like the ipod because of all the great space
i like the itouch because of the cool touch screen and the cool looking apps and games

does the ipod classic have some fun games???

can you tell me the name of some free ones please and some of you personal favorites?

also my friend has and ipod classic and she had a sims game on it (dunno if it was sims1 or sims2) do you have this game? is it fun???

Well dude i look at it like this. The iPod does not come with any free games but the itouch does. Just go to the app store and see what you find. I think that my fav would have to be the Tap Tap Revenge 2 (free). i dont have that game but i am sure what eva she paid for it. it is the same price in the App store. Go with the iTouch dude. 8 is good if you dont have that many song the 16 is over all good. (what i have) a 32Gb is big. Go with the 16 (if you can) the 8 is alright

Do i deserve an Ipod?

I have been getting an allowance for 20 dollars a week and i am saving up for my birthday which is in march. I plan to either go to Wal-mart and buy and ipod or order on apple store.com (which can be shipped in 24 hrs). I had a talk with my step-father today and he says if i had an Ipod i would leave it around or drop it. he continually insists that i should buy a mp3 player that has a touch screen and has a camera. I continue to say to him that a mp3 player isn’t the same.My problem is that if I have my own money and im turning 15 why can’t i buy one? So he says he wants one ligament reason why i should buy an ipod…..Can you help me? All I can think of is that i deserve one and I have my own money. Please help me!! He wants the answer by tomorrow evening.

Best ipod? Include price too.?

What is the best ipod you can get nowadays?? My ipod broke i i probably need a new one, depends if i can get it fixed, but if i cant, tell me whats the best ipod you can get. Heres why i want, (and dont want) the ipod models:
1. The ipod touch
I want: holds a LOT of songs!! Exellent battery life
Don’t want: I dont want all those crazy apps and crap, i dont need it and i hate touch screens

2. Ipod nano
I want: Probably the perfect ipod for me, nice battery life
don’t want: WTF a camera and the screen turns

3. Ipod classic
I want: Once again, perfect for me
I dont: My friends ipod classic died a yr later

4: Ipod shuffle
I want: Only holds songs, no videos or camera
Dont want: Idk if you can play it on speakers, can get lost easily

So tell me what you think which ipod i should get!! and correct me if i am wrong about any of these models (in a nice mature way)

I would recommend you Apple iPod touch 32 GB (3rd Generation) NEWEST MODEL

I have used this product and it performs really well

Pros:
-Slick,small and light device
-Great touch screen
-The BEST web browser on a portable device
-Amazing video/music playback
-App Store (Too many cool applications for Free)
-Display screen is clear and bright
-No bugs and annoying stuff a very reliable hardware
-64GB Flash based mp3 player

Cons:
-Not much of an upgrade over 2G (people were disappointed because they did not get upgrades like camera/OLED/etc)
-Weaker battery, only lasts 30 hours for music playback versus 2G iPod touch 36 Hours music playback
-Expensive for the 64GB version
-Still no FM radio without the use of online applications
-Bluetooth is still half locked

My ipod was partially submerged in water. Now it won’t work. (read details for more info on my situation)?

My ipod (1st generation ipod touch 8GB) was partially submerged in water. At first is still worked but wouldn’t light up. Then the screen started flickering and blanking. Then the touch screen stopped working. Now it won’t work at all. I can’t find my water strip. I tried restarting my ipod and letting it dry out on its own. What should I do? Is it possible to have it fixed? I can’t afford another one and don’t want to be without an ipod.

you should have let it dry out before trying to turn it on, your battery is probably dead now, you would have to have it replaced, it could be much worse tho, if it got to some other vital part it will never work again.
