of course it would be better! You should use a laptop for something that doesn’t use up the battery as much: therefore gaming should be no-no, and use other neat tricks to preserve battery life: dim the screen a bit; take cd’s that are not being used out of the computer as they keep on spinning even if you don’t use them and use up battery; etc.
So, yeah, desktop computer is the best. Laptop, excellent if you need to do some work away from your desk.
You can do either both. alienware specializes in laptops and desktops specifically for gaming.. you can do either or. i have a laptop but for the home theater feel i have an external monitor for my games it makes it easier for me to multi task and also makes the resolution of the game alot better than using yoru laptop
well if your wanting a awsome one get a dell xps
heres the catch: if you want relatively high end performance in a mobile package, then you want to opt for a gaming laptop. these rigs are more expensive than desktops, but they offer gaming n the go convineince. they sacrifice power for portability, so u get less bang for your buck with a gaming laptop.
if you want a cheaper gaming solution that gaming laptops, cinsider a barebones desktop. these offer the greatest flexibility so you can call the shots on all components from the case, motherboard, video card, cpu, etc… these are less expensive and you can build a rig yourself that can play crysis at a playable 20 fps on a $1500 quad-core DIY (do it yourself) desktop computer. this also gives you the option to say ” i built it myself” at ur next lan-party.
keep in mind that select manufacturers also sell barebones notebook models such as asus’ c90 model. keep in mind that notebook barebones moels arent entirely barebones,; you have to use the built in motherboard and optical drives to work with.
if you dont have time to make a gaming pc urself, consider custom configuring 1 from ibuypower.com or cyberpowerpc.com. they have a great selection of parts and cases, and they offer extreme performance on a budget. (okay, not extreme, but u kno wat i mean)
yup, a gaming desktop computer is better than a laptop, upgrade its memory and clear off unnecessary files so that you will have a good time gaming experience.
