What are the basics that i need to download for a reformatted gaming computer running windows xp?
It has an intel motherboard and a ATI radeon x600 XT graphics card.

Give me the name of the motherboard
graphics drivers: http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/radeonx-xp.html (official) OR http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati/win2k_xp.php
Your sound drivers, network drivers, cd drivers etc etc SHOULD all come with the motherboard drivers… If you have the CD… or the motherboard name.
Program wise for gaming:
Ventrilo
Teamspeak
steam
Irc
Anti Virus!.
game pacthes / updates / models / maps.
I’ll add more if I can think of anything else.
